Curaçao: where the Caribbean meets Europe

Curaçao, part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, is famous for its turquoise beaches, pastel-colored colonial architecture, and a multicultural vibe blending Caribbean and European roots. For remote professionals, the @Home in Curaçao program lets you work legally from the island while enjoying its relaxed lifestyle.

What is the @Home in Curaçao program?

A special permit that authorizes digital nomads, international entrepreneurs, and students to reside and work in Curaçao for extended periods.

Initial duration: 6 months.

Renewable: Yes—an additional 6 months (maximum 1 year).

Focus: Attract international talent, stimulate the local economy, and promote Curaçao as a remote-work destination.

Who regulates and processes it

The program is managed by Curaçao’s Ministry of Justice, and applications are submitted through the official @Home in Curaçao portal.
