Living and Working in the Cayman Islands

The Cayman Islands are known as one of the world’s leading financial centers—and also as a paradise of white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. For digital nomads, the country offers the Global Citizen Concierge Program (GCCP), designed for professionals who want to live in the Caribbean while continuing to work remotely for foreign companies.

What is the Global Citizen Concierge Program?

The GCCP is a special permit launched in 2020 that allows remote workers and their families to settle temporarily in the Cayman Islands.

Initial duration: up to 2 years.

Renewable: currently no.

Focus: attracting professionals with high incomes and a global lifestyle.

Who Regulates and Processes It

The program is managed by the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism in collaboration with the Department of Immigration.
